Eagles Nest Country Club
Local Rules Sheet
USGA Rules govern all play.
-
All lakes are either played as
water hazards or lateral water hazards and are marked with red
stakes and/or red lines
-
Out of bounds is defined by white
stakes, retaining walls, and property lines.
-
A ball coming to rest across a private
property line is out of bounds. Do not retrieve a ball from
a homeowner's property.
-
Any ball that goes into, or crosses
a street is out of bounds.
-
Relief from staked trees may be
taken by dropping, without penalty, within one (1) club length
of the nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole.
-
Relief from French drains and drainage
areas filled with large rocks or gravel may be taken, without
penalty, within one club length of the nearest point of relief,
no nearer the hole.

The stone blocked tree wells on the left side
of hole #15 at Eagles Nest are considered as integral parts
of the golf course. The ball must be played as it lies, or under
penalty, the rules of golf may apply.

Anywhere "Trough the Green", if a
ball is embedded in its own pitch mark, it may be lifted, cleaned,
and dropped without penalty as near as possible to where it
originally lay, no nearer the hole.

There are TWO drop areas located on hole #4
at Eagles Nest for balls hit into the hazard. There is a drop
are back left of the green and a drop area front right of the
green. If a player chooses to use the drop areas, the player
must use the drop area closed to where his ball last crossed
the margin of the hazard.

Ground under repair is marked by white paint.
Relief may be taken, without penalty, within one club length
of the nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole.

The gravel cart path on the right side of #
10 is considered an immovable obstruction.

Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions
(Rule 24-1 applies).

The fence bordering the cart path on the left
side of #17 is considered an out of bounds boundary. Relief
from the fence may not be taken without penalty.
Golf Cart Rules for ENCC
Winter Season
-
Golf carts must remain on the paths around tees
and greens.
-
Golf carts must remain on the paths on all par
3 holes.
-
Golf carts must remain on the paths on holes
#5, #10, and #18, and any other holes marked as cart path only
unless otherwise noted.

Golf carts are not allowed in desert areas.
-
Golf carts are not allowed in the wash areas.
-
During the winter months (Dec. through Feb.),
carts should remain in the fairways as much as possible. Please
enter the fairway at one point, drive down the fairway during
the play of the hole, and exit the fairway at one point before
getting to the green. Please keep carts off the rough areas
except when entering and exiting the fairway.

No more than two carts are allowed per foursome
unless otherwise approved by the golf shop staff.

No more than two bags or two riders per golf
cart unless otherwise approved by the golf shop staff.
-
Golf cart operators must have a valid drivers
license.
-
When driving to and from the golf course, use
the roads. Only approved golfers and carts are allowed on the
golf course.
