Was Held April, 22, 2008

Thursday, April 17th's play off between flight winners for the club championship was won by Joe Boyle (Flight D) in a tie breaker with Bob Foster (Flight B). Both came in at a net 34 for the final round. In third place was Gene White (Flight C) with a net 37 and fourth place was Eddie Wilson (Flight A). Eddie Wilson was unable to be in the play off due to family matters, we wish Eddie the best.

Four flights A,B,C and D based on AGA handicap.
Two day goal is to determine champion of each flight determined by net score.
Four flight champions to play for net score PCM9GA championship at date to be determined.
Low gross winner will also be recognized and receive trophy.

Trophies for Flight Champs, Lo Gross and PCM9GA Champion, to be presented at Awards Banquet April 22.

 

GOLF RULES: (all golf rules shall conform to USGA Rules with allowance for local rules)

Annual PCM9GA Golf championship will be two days. The first round will be played Thursday April 3, 2008 and the second round will be played the following Thursday April 10, 2008. The membership will be divided into four flights (A, B, C, and D) and flights will be by similar handicaps. This will assure that all members compete against other members with nearly the same handicap as their own. There will be a trophy awarded to each flight winner. The winners of each flight will then have another nine hole playoff, using their handicaps, to decide the 2008 PCM9GA Club Champion. NO MEMBER will be allowed to participate without an AGA handicap. The awards Banquet will be held April 22nd.

Annual meeting and election of officers to be held April 16, 2008

***All Player.. Please meet at 12:45 pm and get your tournament scorecard and final instructions.

GOLF ETIQUETTE:
1. Please smooth all marks made in sand traps
2. Leave the putting green as soon as you have holed out.
3. Do not walk in the putting line of your partners.
4. Do not play until the players in front of you are out of range.
5. Balls may be cleaned only after they are on the green.
6. Ball marks can be repaired prior to putting.
